Debbie has Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). She is a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and scout leader. She has been on dialysis for 4 years and has been waiting for a transplant. In November 2012, she had a bilateral nephrectomy (both kidneys were removed) because they were so large they were further degrading her quality of life. Since being on the waiting list she has received two calls, but neither kidney was viable. You can become her guardian angel by being her living donor.
